Hall’s Hardy Almond (Prunus dulcis ‘Hall’s Hardy’) – A hardy, productive almond variety known for its beautiful spring blossoms and delicious, sweet almonds. Produces clusters of pale pink to white flowers in early spring, followed by green fruit that matures into fuzzy hulls containing hard-shelled almonds. Nuts typically ripen in late summer to early fall and are excellent for fresh eating, roasting, baking, and cooking. Vigorous, spreading tree with good adaptability to a variety of growing conditions and better cold tolerance than many traditional almond varieties. Prefers full sun and well-draining soil. Grows approximately 15–20 feet tall and wide. Partially self-fertile, but planting another compatible almond variety nearby can improve pollination and nut production.
