Harvester Peach (Prunus persica ‘Harvester’) – A popular Southern peach variety known for its heavy production of medium to large fruit with golden-yellow skin and a beautiful red blush. Features firm, juicy, yellow flesh with a sweet, rich flavor and semi-freestone texture. Excellent for fresh eating, canning, baking, cobblers, and homemade peach preserves. Produces showy pink blossoms in early spring followed by fruit that typically ripens in mid to late summer. Vigorous, productive tree with good heat tolerance and adaptability to Southern growing conditions. Prefers full sun and well-draining soil. Grows approximately 12–15 feet tall and wide. Self-fertile, so a second peach tree is not required for fruit production.
