Stanley Plum (Prunus domestica ‘Stanley’) – Popular fruit-bearing plum tree known for its sweet, juicy, deep purple-blue fruit with golden-yellow flesh. Produces delicious plums that are excellent for fresh eating, baking, canning, and homemade preserves. Features beautiful white spring blossoms followed by fruit that typically ripens in late summer. A naturally productive variety that is partially self-fertile, though planting another compatible European plum nearby can improve fruit production. Prefers full sun and well-draining soil. Grows approximately 15–20 feet tall and wide, but can be maintained at a smaller size with regular pruning. A wonderful addition to home orchards and edible landscapes.
