Big Daddy Blackberry (Rubus ‘Big Daddy’) – A productive blackberry variety known for its exceptionally large, glossy black berries and sweet, rich flavor. Produces firm, juicy fruit that is excellent for fresh eating, baking, cobblers, jams, jellies, and homemade preserves. Features attractive white spring blossoms followed by abundant clusters of blackberries that typically ripen in early to mid-summer. Vigorous, fast-growing plant with good productivity and adaptability to Southern growing conditions. Prefers full sun and well-draining, fertile soil. Grows approximately 4–6 feet tall and wide, depending on growing conditions and pruning. Self-fertile, so a second blackberry plant is not required for fruit production.
