Anna Apple (Malus domestica ‘Anna’) – A popular low-chill apple variety especially suited for warmer Southern climates. Produces medium to large apples with greenish-yellow skin and a beautiful red blush. Features crisp, juicy flesh with a sweet flavor and a hint of tartness. Excellent for fresh eating, baking, pies, applesauce, and homemade preserves. Produces attractive white to pale pink blossoms in early spring followed by fruit that typically ripens in early to mid-summer. Vigorous, productive tree that prefers full sun and well-draining soil. Grows approximately 10–20 feet tall and wide. Requires cross-pollination with another compatible low-chill apple variety, with Dorsett Golden being an excellent companion for improved pollination and fruit production.
