Tifblue Blueberry (Vaccinium virgatum ‘Tifblue’) – A popular rabbiteye blueberry variety known for its excellent productivity and abundant crops of medium-sized, light blue berries with a beautiful powdery finish. Produces firm, juicy fruit with a sweet flavor that becomes richer as the berries fully ripen. Excellent for fresh eating, baking, smoothies, jams, jellies, and homemade preserves. Features delicate white to pale pink bell-shaped flowers in spring followed by attractive green foliage that turns brilliant shades of red and orange in fall. Berries typically ripen in mid to late summer. Vigorous, upright-growing shrub that performs exceptionally well in Southern climates and tolerates summer heat. Prefers full sun and acidic, well-draining soil rich in organic matter. Grows approximately 6–10 feet tall and wide. Requires cross-pollination with another compatible rabbiteye blueberry variety for improved berry size and fruit production.
